William Rodger

William Rodger, Auburn, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2018 at Clinton Public Hospital. He was in his 86th year. 

William was the beloved husband of Joan (neé Chapman) for over 63 years and cherished father of Warren, David (Bonnie Hallam), Vickie Siddon, Neil (Tracy), Sheila (Ken Barker) and the late Norman (1969). He was the adored grandpa of Matthew and Michelle Siddon, Connor, Colton  and Michaela Rodger, Lisa Jacques (Aaron Swick) and Michelle Rothner and great-grandpa of Addison McPherson, Olivia Swick and Carlee Rothner. 

William was predeceased by his parents Emmerson and Phyllis Rodger and his brother Keith Rodger. He was the dear brother of Betty (Buzz) Helesic, Gary Rodger and Clare (Linda) Rodger. William will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

Friends will be received on Friday, Sept. 21 at the McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Goderich, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Following the service, there will be a celebration of life held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Goderich from approximately noon until 2 p.m. 

Memorial donations can be made to the Clinton Public Hospital, Diabetes Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one’schoice.
