William George Johnston

Mr. Bill Johnston of Wingham, passed away at his residence in Wingham on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. He was 84.
Bill was the dear uncle of Robert Johnston, Wingham; Allan Johnston (Nancy), Wetaskiwin, Alberta; Wayne Johnston (Dianne), Wingham; Brad Johnston (Trish), Nancy Berwick (Mitch) and Karen Dupuis (Rick) all of Teeswater. Bill is also survived by his aunt Verna Johnston, Sarnia and several great- and great-great nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his parents William and Irene (Wheeler) Johnston and his brother Ross Johnston (Audrey).
Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. Rev. Jeff Hawkins will officiate. Interment is in Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
