Every day North Huron Publishing will post a photograph showing what life is like in Huron County that day. Photos will come from both North Huron Publishing Company staff and community members.

The photo for the first Friday the 13 of 2017 comes from Blyth and shows a small pile of snow in the village that, if weather continues the way it has, could be one of the last places to find snow in the area.
The photo for today comes from Liz Allan of Wroxeter and features the baseball park in the village. She says people likely will not be playing baseball anytime soon.
The photo of the day for January 8 comes from Liz Allan of Wroxeter. She snapped this photo yesterday when the sun was shining, but a little misleading at the temperatures were very cold.
The photo for January 7 comes from Liz Allan of Wroxeter and features some cows. While they are obviously inquisitive, as Allan pointed out, she wondered if the -10 Celsius weather had them shivering.
The photo for January 4 comes from the Blyth and District Community Centre and shows that, despite bad weather being called for, hockey families are still willing to make it to the arena for games.
The first photo of the day for 2017 comes from the Blyth 140th committee new year levée. The celebration included games, snacks and a dog sledding demonstration.
The last photo of the day for 2016 comes from a celebration in Belgrave where North Huron Reeve Neil Vincent shaved off his beard, marking the soft start of the East Wawanosh 150th beard growing competition.
The photo for December 30 features the future home of the Blyth Cowbell Brewing Company which, despite some wild weather since a groundbreaking earlier this year, continues to take shape.
