To celebrate the year that was, The Citizen is looking to recognize those who contributed to the Photo of the Day portion of our website throughout 2016.
Readers are being asked to choose one photo from  a selection of 12, one from each month, that was narrowed down by The Citizen’s editorial staff to be chosen as the best Photo of the Day for the year.
The photographer who took the winning photo will receive a prize worth more than $50 including a subscription to The Citizen and their choice of a book sold in The Citizen’s Blyth office costing $20 or less.
